This is literally Eddlm’s mod. I’ve done the bare minimum in adding features, Eddlm should be credited for this entire thing. The only thing I actually did was change the squad presets, driving style, added the recruitment feature, and added hotkeys.

DESCRIPTION

This is a small update for Eddlm’s script Bodyguard Squads that changes a few things about the original script, and adds a recruitment feature (BETA, may stay in that state).

— Driving Styles: The driving styles have been tweaked a little bit. Careful, which was the driver basically driving normally but he would run through traffic lights and overtake vehicles occasionally, has been replaced by Normal, which is the driver driving like any other traffic ped, following traffic laws, stopping at red lights, not overtaking vehicles, etc. The driving style Normal, which was the driver driving a little bit more recklessly than careful, overtaking vehicles a little more often and driving a little faster, has been replaced with Rushed. Rushed basically has the same behavior as the old driving mod, except it’s a little more polished. The driver will still try and overtake when it can and get around cars by any means necessary, as long as its safe. The final driving mode didn’t really receive any tweaks, other than polishing it some and trying to make it to where you don’t run into the back of every vehicle in front of you 24/7. I’ve somewhat achieved this result.

— Squad Presets: The squad presets have all been changed to reflect the title, Gangs. The possible choices are as following:

— Recruit Feature (beta): The script now supports a recruit feature, allowing you to recruit any ped to a Squad and command them as such. The feature is still somewhat buggy, and the recruited peds may not listen sometimes but all-in-all it’s functional.

Key == Keys above keyboard, aka NOT NumPad

Call Squad Keys: Use these keys to call whichever squad you choose with whatever set up you have predefined in the menu.

Call squad 1: Key 1
Call Squad 2: Key 2
Call Squad 3: Key 3
Call Squad 4: Key 4
Call All Squads: Key 0

Dismiss Squads Modifier Key: The key you will hold when you want to dismiss squads instead of calling them. You hold this key and press whatever key you used to call the squad. So if you wanted to dismiss squad 1, you hold Shift, then press 1.

Recruit Keys: The keys you use when you want to recruit the ped near you into a squad.

Recruit Squad 1: NumPad 1
Recruit Squad 2: NumPad 2
Recruit Squad 3: NumPad 3
Recruit Squad 4: NumPad 4

Driving Style Keys: The keys you use to switch driving styles on-the-go, and to send the driver to the waypoint (automatically sends to waypoint to update driving style).

Driving Style Normal Key: Divide (on NumPad)
Driving Style Rushed Key: Multiply (on NumPad)
Driving Style Fast Key: Subtract (on NumPad).

В первую очередь хочется отметить то, что благодаря моду телохранители для ГТА 5 мы сможем окунуться в настоящий командный дух, который можно сравнить, например с атмосферой в моде миссии спецназа для GTA 5, несмотря на то, что там мы добавляли небольшие миссии, а здесь режим свободной игры, главное то, что мы точно также будем слаженно работать, прикрывая друг друга.

Итак, отряды телохранителей в ГТА 5 будут полностью подвластны нам, в чём это выражается? В первую очередь в том, что мы можем создавать команды из них, а также выбирать для них практически любые транспортные средства, управлять их передвижением и действиями.

Остановимся поподробнее на транспорте. В моде Bodyguard Squads для GTA 5 нам будет доступен для выбора как наземный транспорт, начиная с автомобилей премиум класса и заканчивая военной техникой, так и воздушные средства, например вертолёты. В любое из этих транспортных средств мы можем усадить своих телохранителей и они будут следовать за нами, например, если мы разместимся в нескольких машинах, то кроме тех телохранителей в GTA 5, которые сидят в нашей машине, оставшиеся будут следовать за нами колонной, а если мы выберем вертолёт, то они полетят за нами, в случае также предоставления для них вертолёта.

Управление модом телохранители:

Для того, чтобы выйти в менюшку, которая позволит управлять нужным отрядом телохранителей необходимо нажать X.
К слову, количество отрядов в игре не может превышать два.

Для того, чтобы выйти в менюшку для управления командами, отдаваемыми отрядам необходимо нажать C.

Для того, чтобы установить мод телохранители для ГТА 5, необходимо сделать несколько простых шагов!

У вас должны быть установлены:

Если хотя бы одна из этих программ не установлена, то сначала установите её.
Теперь просто перемещаем файлы dvanced_bodyguards.ini и Advanced Bodyguards.dll из папки с модом в папку scripts, которая располагается в корневой паке GTA 5.

This is the evolution of my previous mod.
I wanted a mod with bodyguards with vehicles, weapons, peds and many commands.
For that reason I added all functions that I always wanted.
It’s not perfect but I hope you like it as much as I do.

Install / Update version 2.0.0 or higher Video
1.-Extract the folder dsCore into you «scripts» folder in the path where you have installed the game.Example C/Program Files/Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/
replace all files and folders if it’s necessary.
2.-Open dsCore tool.exe press File>merge and backup files option to update your config files; this is necessary to new install and to update, this action will make a backup of your current config if it’s possible.

Important Notes
-The folder dsCore/User/ contains your configuration files, be carefull with that!
-Version 2.0.0 and higher is not compatible with previus versions, if you have a previus version, it’s necesary to remove it to prevent conflicts.
-If you want to use addon peds/vehicles you can use dscore tool.exe to add it in the configuration files.

Install version 1.5.1 and older
Extract the file active_bodyguards_squads_v1.5.1dll, NativeUIForDSCADXMods.dll and active_bodyguards_squads_conf.xml and move it into you «scripts» folder in the path where you have installed the game.
Example C/Program Files/Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/
If you have a previous version, check the compatibility file and make a backup of your config (xml file).

How to use
Press T to open the mod menu
Press and hold Ctrl + mouseWheel +/- to select an order
Press and hold Shift + mouseWheel +/- to select a squad
Press right mouse button with a weapon (aim) + click on the mouse wheel to execute the selected command with the selected squadron
Press E for bodyguards to enter your vehicle
